Bay Laurel Organic
Renowned since ancient times for its purifying, stimulating and anti-inflammatory virtues, the bay laurel, sweet bay or true laurel is a large evergreen shrub from the Mediterranean basin and whose southern aromas are also very much appreciated in cooking. Associated with victory, it was once customary to crown victors, poets, scholars and medical students with its leaves. Its name also inspired the term "baccalaureate", a national secondary school diploma.
Aromatic, fresh and strong, the Bay Laurel hydrosol is known for its stimulating and invigorating benefits. Its use is thus recommended during seasonal changes or in winter, as an infusion for example. Also purifying and anti-inflammatory, this hydrosol promotes digestion. In cooking, its Provencal flavors will perfume many savory dishes, such as ratatouille, grilled vegetables or tomato sauces. Cosmetic-wise, the Bay Laurel hydrosol is useful for cleansing and toning both skin and hair.
