Description

Cultivated since ancient times, the Lemon Verbena is a fragrant flowering plant known for its therapeutic benefits, including anti-inflammatory, digestive and harmonizing. Native to South America, this small ornamental shrub features a light green foliage releasing intense fresh and lemony aromas, especially used to make infusions.

Aromatic and refreshing, the Lemon Verbena hydrosol presents similar virtues. Rebalancing, it is both energizing and soothing. Purifying and anti-inflammatory, it is also recommended for its digestive properties. In cooking, its lemony flavor will pleasantly perfume several cooked dishes, made with ginger for example, as well as desserts, such as citrus sorbets, peach or rhubarb pies or even crème brûlée. Cosmetic-wise, this hydrosol helps toning and soothing the skin as well as bringing radiance to the complexion.

USE

• Our hydrosols can be used both internally and externally (facial toner, food, etc.)

• Ideal for combination, sensitive or dull skin types cosmetic-wise.

• Use precaution: hydrosols are sensitive products with a limited shelf life.

• Shelf life & storage instructions: They can be kept 2 to 3 months once the bottle is opened. Keep in a cool and dry place, away from light. We recommend to store them in the refrigerator.

To further increase its benefits, the organic Lemon Verbena Hydrosol blends very well with other organic carrier oils and hydrosols with complementary properties, such as:

• The Argan, Sweet Almond or Sea Buckthorn Carrier Oils.

• The Linden, Neroli or Peppermint Hydrosols.
